We have only explored around 5% of the ocean to date. There are still 150 new species of fish that are being discovered every year, so there could be even more dangerous creatures out there waiting to be found, lets hope you don't stumple upon one of them while having fun at the beach - stay safe!

There are thousands of dangerous species in this world of ours and narrowing it down to two lists of the top15 hasn't been easy. The reasons for our chosen few are simply because of their infamous histories and the reputations that surround them. From the wonders of the deepest oceans to the driest desserts, there's lots of wonderful, amazing creatures to discover.

We won't say that we hope you never come across them, because they truely are spectacular wonders of the natural world, just make sure you keep a safe distance between you and their spikes and venoms. Some of the creatures you might have seen before and some are a little less well known but all are real and living in our oceans or in our world today, as with all creatures on our beautiful planet they have earned their place in evolution history as being the most dangerous creatures on our planet!
